Chung (or Chong) Lung was a Chinese miner working in the No. 6 when an explosion tore through the mine. The entire mining shift was killed, and the mine was subsequently flooded to put out the flames. Unfortunately discrepancies in the recording of Chinese fatalities of the disaster have caused difficulties in identifying Chinese casualties, with names having been misspelled or mis-recorded.
