Yee Hong Wong was a miner's helper working in the No. 6 mine. He was killed in the 1901 disaster that shook Cumberland on February 15th, 1901. Unfortunately discrepancies in the recording of Chinese fatalities of the disaster have caused difficulties in identifying Chinese casualties, with names having been misspelled or mis-recorded.
