This letter of condolence from John N. McLeod, Worshipful Master, and Alexander Armstrong, Recording Secretary, of the Mount Horeb Loyal Orange Lodge, No.1676, extended their heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Walker. The letter was donated to the museum by Mrs. Walkers' daughter, Sophia Stevens (nee Walker)
Mrs. Walker lost her husband and two sons in the No. 6 Mine explosion, on Feb. 15, 1901. The late Mr. William B. Walker had been a member of The Mount Horeb Loyal Orange Lodge, a fraternal society.
