History
The Socialist Party of Great Britain was established in 1904, coinciding with the rise of class struggles and the dissemination of socialist ideals across both Great Britain and other continents.
In Canada, the earliest Socialist party was the Socialist Labour Party, which emerged in 1898 in Vancouver. Meanwhile, the provincial Socialist Party of British Columbia, was founded in 1904.
