Foy Dang was a Chinese miner at the No. 6 mine. He, along with his entire shift, were killed when an explosion tore through the mine on February 15th, 1901. Unfortunately discrepancies in the recording of Chinese fatalities of the disaster have caused difficulties in identifying Chinese casualties, with names having been misspelled or mis-recorded.
