Robert K. Dunsire (or Dunshire) was a miner's helper at the No. 4 mine, and one of the casualties of the disastrous explosion that occurred on August 30th, 1922. He was buried in the Cumberland cemetery in block 2-91. The inscription on his grave stone reads: "erected by his loving wife Emily". Robert was a British Army veteran, having served with the 1st Battalion Royal Highlanders of Canada.
