Wong G. (or Gang Kee Wong) Chow was a Chinese timberman in the no. 6 mine who was killed in the February 15th, 1901 disaster. He would have been responsible for erecting the timbers that helped support the ceiling of the mine. Unfortunately discrepancies in the recording of Chinese fatalities of the disaster have caused difficulties in identifying Chinese casualties, with names having been misspelled or mis-recorded.
