This dual depth gauge and barometre belonged to George O'Brien.
George O'Brien was the founding president of the Coal Creek Literary and Athletic Association (CCL & AA) in Fernie, B.C. and later was involved in the 1921 founding of the Cumberland Literary and Athletic Association. He worked as a mine manager and safety engineer.

1 gauge : metal, gold coloured. The face hand is missing.
The engraving reads: "Presented to Geo. O’Brien by Officers and Members of the CCL & AA as a token of Respect for Service Rendered as President, March 27 ’09".
