History
The Hayashi glass plate negative collection contains several portrait images with unidentified sitters. One such photo portrays a subject whose identity remains unknown to us. We do have some information about this individual, though. He was photographed by the Hayashi Studio in Cumberland, and he was described as having a mixed heritage of both African and European ancestry. Despite this description, further details about the person's background or history remain elusive.
