Albert "Ginger" Goodwin's funeral procession took place in Cumberland, on August 2nd, 1918. It was over a mile long and thousands lined the streets to pay their respects. It was the largest funeral in the history of the community.
Description
This photograph was taken by Ken Hayashi, son of Senjiro Hayashi. People identified: Karl Coe (boy leaning against pole), Pete Shearer (long coat underneath the sign, identified by family who thinks that he led the procession).
