History
Part of a breathing apparatus made by Dräger Oxygen Apparatus Co, a German company. Dräger was one of the main companies making mine rescue devices designed to deliver breathable air to the wearer, allowing users to go underground despite the presence of deadly gas. Their breathing apparatuses were so popular, that in North America, rescue team members were often referred as draegerman, regardless of the equipment they used.
