History
Rows of company-built and owned houses lines the first street of what will later become Cumberland. Many of those houses are still standing today having survived the 1947 earthquake and the 1950s fire, constituting the oldest houses in Cumberland.
Description
This image shows Union Camp down what is now known as Camp Road. The train on the lefthand side was called the Betsy Jane.
