The post office can be seen on the far right of the photo. There are 6 men standing in the foreground. There is also a sign that says “Beware of Cars.” The truck parked in front of the garage is for “New Home Bakery.”
W.A.C. Bennett’s wife lived between the Islander and the Post Office as a young girl.
