History
Constructed in 1889, the principal wharf stretched approximately 490 meters. It was the largest at the time in British Columbia.
Description
This image shows a line of cars full of coal heading towards the end of the wharf. An inscription at the bottom of the photo reads: 'Approach to loading wharves, Union Bay, BC.'
